Listen to the Spoken Word version of this poem
***
People you lose to depression,
No, not just the dead ones but,
The ones who just changed over the course of time.
You once saw them happy, smiling,
Now their eyes are still and they feel like nothing.
People you lose to depression,
Are your own people.
It’s your father or mother or sister or brother.
It’s the guy or girl you went out with,
It’s that once friendly neighbor or an old classmate.
People you lose to depression,
The silent killer,
What are you doing about them?
And the ones who pushed them to the edge,
Are you the one? Could you be one of them?
***
Sigh.

😔 We can all choose to be kind not only to those who are close to us but also the strangers we meet along the way 💕

It’s very important to be kind enough to everyone as we don’t even a small act of cruelty can be terrible!!!!!

You have written with great heart about a problem that is more widespread than we like to talk about and that needs to heard with kindness
Sharing an old blog post about love, loss and the movements of life that flow between them. Do read it when you can
